INPS: redundancy fund with temperatures above 35 degrees, even if "perceived"

INPS: redundancy fund with temperatures above 35 degrees, even if "perceived"

ROME – The triumph of those who suffer from the heat even if the thermometer is not really very high. Whether it is due to humidity or excessive glass, the suffering is often greater than what appears on the column. The INPS takes this into account. The INPS gives instructions to companies to request ordinary redundancy payments in the face of high temperatures, explaining that the benefit can be requested both in response to an order from the public authority, for reasons not attributable to the company and the workers, and where the temperatures themselves are above 35 degrees.

The double option for workers

However, " even the occurrence of temperatures equal to or lower than 35 °C - explains INPS in a message - can determine the acceptance of the application for access to wage integration benefits if the evaluation of the so-called "perceived" temperature, which is higher than the real one, is taken into consideration". The indications concern both employers who can request the CIGO and employers who can request the wage integration allowance from the Wage Integration Fund (FIS) or from the Bilateral Solidarity Funds.
